At present, Integrated Hydro Fund Nepal Pvt. Ltd. is actively engaged in the development of the Upper Brahmayani Hydroelectric Project. Initially designed with a capacity of 15.15 MW, the project has been optimized to 19.68 MW. Situated in the Brahmayani (Balephi) River within Jugal Rural Municipality, Ward No. 3, Sindhupalchwok District, Nepal, the project is currently in the construction phase. All requisite government approvals, including the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and Financial Closures, have been successfully obtained. Similarly Integrated Hydro Fund Nepal has also identified Lagang Khola (Brahmayani ”A”) Hydroelectric Project at upstream of Brahmayani Hydroelectric Project with a capacity of 9.7 MW, the project is under feasibility study.
